Mission Statement
“The Prince Albert Multicultural Council exists to create an awareness, understanding, appreciation, respect, and acceptance of the various cultures that compose Canada by means of public relations, personal interaction, festivals and workshops” “We are also a Refugee and Immigrant serving agency which assists newcomers to adapt and fit comfortably into Canadian society” 

Settlement Support Services
We offer assistance and advice to newcomers adjusting to life in Canada. This is done through informal counseling and referrals, in order to connect people to the resources available in the community of Prince Albert and area.  

Community Consultations
The PAMC and its staff are also available to individuals, organizations, and the  community at large, for consultations and information about multiculturalism, and immigration issues.
Multicultural Events and Activities 
Creates an awareness, understanding, appreciation, respect,
and acceptance of the various cultures that compose Canada by means of public relations, personal interaction, festivals, and
workshops.                  
Events and activities may include, but are not restricted to:                 
  • Monthly Concert Series ( featuring local artists in Prince Albert and Area)
  • Discovery Diversity in Language Classes;
  • Multicultural Potlucks;              
  • International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination activities;
  • Canada Day Celebration;          
  • ​Tapestrama Cultural  Festival; 
  • Christmas at City Hall.
