Multicultural CANADA DAY

Canada Day is the Prince Albert Multicultural Council's annual community-based event.

Canada Day celebrates our beautiful country! It is a yearly event filled with music, food, local talent, and of course, a grand fireworks display. Everyone is welcome to attend and enjoy the festivities.

Due to the circumstances of COVID-19, PAMC will be hosted Canada Day virtually on July 1st, 2021.

To respect health and safety measures in our community, The Prince Albert Multicultural Council
(PAMC), together with the City of Prince Albert, is pleased to announce a “Virtual Canada Day
Celebration” this year on July 1st, 2021. This event will be live-streamed via Prince Albert
Multicultural Council Facebook page (@pamcsk) from 12:00pm to 9:00pm.

The virtual/online Canada Day event kicked off at noon and offered a mix of performances and
activities, including an official opening ceremony and messages from multiple Indigenous elders, family-friendly concerts, multicultural performances, a Reconciliation & Learning Ceremony, a community video competition, and various other guests both online and in-person.

Canada Day is held on July 1st, every year.

The event estimates around 7,000+ attendees.

During Canada Day, PAMC looks for volunteers to assist in the event. However, due to COVID-19 concerns, PAMC will be hosting our Canada Celebration virtually this year (2020).
