The Prince Albert Multicultural Council offers 3 distinct programs for newcomers to Canada.

  • English for Employment Class (E4E)

  • STAGE 2 English Class (S2E)

  • Settlement Employability Support Program (SESP)

The Prince Albert Multicultural Council also offers 1 program to serve under-represented populations within our community who are looking to find employment.

  • Enhanced Career Bridging (ECB) Program

PAMC NOW OFFERS CAREER EXPLORATION THROUGH VIRTUAL REALITY FOR ALL CLIENTS.

  • VR (Virtual Reality) Career Exploration

ALL of our programs are FREE of charge.

Additionally, PAMC offers conference and lounge room rentals for interested parties to use for a myriad of different events.

 

The Prince Albert Multicultural Council offers two rooms: the Conference Room and Lounge Area/Kitchen for rent in Prince Albert. 



 

STAGE 2 English Class

Our STAGE 2 English Class is a personalized english skills development and training course that facilitates connection and active participation in the community. It is also available to Newcomers with a minimum skill level of 4 or higher on their CLB (or equivalent). It runs from 5:30pm-9:30pm every Tuesday and Thursday and grants flexibility to English students looking to work part-time. 

Employability Support

Our Employability Support program assists Newcomers by enhancing their ability to participate in the local labour market and develop improved connections to employers by providing services such as: aiding in career decision making, job searching, employment planning, resume/cover letter building, labour market attachment, job management and more!

Conference and Lounge Room Rentals

PAMC has a lounge room (with kitchen) and conference room available to be rented throughout the year. If interested in renting either (or both!) areas, please contact PAMC by phone or email to schedule a viewing.

Enhanced Career Bridging (ECB) Program

Our Enhanced Career Bridging (ECB) program is a 30 hour-per-week, 16-week program that will increase skills in communication,  job search, computer use, handling conflict, math skills, customer service, soft skills, and other employment skills needed to obtain and maintain employment. This program offers a work placement to gain work experience and skills, job search assistance to gain employment in the community, and ongoing career guidance to maintain employment. A training allowance is available for eligible participants

Settlement Employability Support Program

Our Settlement Employability Support program assists Newcomers by enhancing their ability to participate in the local labour market and develop improved connections to employers by providing services such as: resume/cover letter building, job searching, aiding in career decision making, employment planning, labour market attachment, job management and more!

Our English for Employment Class is a customized ESL (English as a Second Language) class available to Newcomers with a minimum skill level of 4 or higher on their CLB (or equivalent). It runs from 8:30am-12:30pm every Tuesday and Thursday and grants flexibility to English students looking to work part-time.

Conference and Lounge Room Rentals

PAMC has a lounge room (with kitchen) and a conference room available to be rented throughout the year.

All rooms are equipped with WIFI Access, Televisions, Whiteboards, Flip charts, Tables and Chairs. Coffee maker, oven and microwave are also available for use by the renter. 

Both rental rooms are located at PAMC office, 1410C Central Avenue, Prince Albert, SK


All reservations are contingent upon acceptance of, and agreement to, the terms and conditions as stated in the Room Rental Agreement.

PAMC is proud to provide our clients with the opportunity to virtually explore various career fields.

PAMC clients can now book an appointment to use our VR technology and explore multiple different careers within the trades
